Last Meet and Greet

Our last Meet and Greet turned out well, There were around 22 people there which included to special guests, Sandy and Dale. Sandy is our AANR-East Trustee to AANR. She is fully involved and instrumental regarding the governance of the association. She had several conversations with our members regarding the operation of AANR.

NEXT MEET AND GREET

Our next Meet and Greet Dinner will be on 4/26/25 at the Hillview Restaurant which is located at at 6135 Transit Road, Depew, NY. They have a private meeting room. We will start at 5:00PM PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN TIME.

You do not have to be a member of the club and you do not need reservations. Please come, ask questions, and see what the club is all about, socialize and get to know us. The only cost is your meal and drinks. We will be discussing our next nudist events.

This year's events

We have finalized the dates for the Nudist Lodge with the Lodge owner regarding our nudist events at the lodge. Here are the dates:

5/31 - 6/1 Spring potluck dinner and overnight.

7/18 - 7/20 Full weekend at the lodge with potluck dinner on Saturday

10/18 - 10/19 Our 12th Nude Thanksgiving Dinner at the Lodge.

There are two major problems in scheduling these events. One, the lodge is becoming more popular and thus, we have to work around the schedule of other people using the Lodge. Two, we have to work around other nudist events in the area where people traditionally attend events. We try to do our best.

We We have also been invited to spend a nude weekend at the Full Tan Sunclub in Sprakers, NY - about 50 miles west of Albany. Full Tan Sunclub is Upstate New York's longest running Full-Nudist Campground.

AANR Advocacy

GAT *the Government Affairs Team) received another 74 bills for review this week. While that number is down, the volume is still high through this point in the administrative year. We will continue to review the bills and send out updates as we learn more.

Florida bills (SB 1180 and HB 757), which proposed to regulate nude images, especially of minors, continue pending in the state's legislature. Per the lobbyist, made possible by the generous support of many, new positive developments took place Wednesday afternoon / evening in committee proceedings.

There is additional protective language that goes beyond the first revisions we requested. Version 2 of HB 757 now references lewd AND lascivious as descriptors of what is unlawful, with additional reference to (helpful) language in Florida Stat. 800.04 ... The amended version cleared the committee unanimously.

AANR-East Elections

The AANR-East elections are now open to all AANR members. If you are a Niagara Naturists members, you are also an AANR member. To vote, go to the AANR-East web page at https://aanr-east.com and click on the vote now button. That page has a sentewnce: If you need help choosing a candidate, please refer to the 2025 AANR-East Ballot [PDF file. That link will bring up the candidate statements and describe the 1 proposition.

One the "vote now page, you will be asked to enter your AANR membership number (P number) and the "since date". Both of these may be found on the membership card.
