We just received word that the WNBR will not need us to help with the bike ride on Saturday. Last year, over 10 NN members were present both Friday night and Saturday to help with the event. At the beginning of the ride, NN members distributed back packs and provided water to those that needed it.
At the end of the ride, we handed out AANR gifts to the participants, helped with registration, and tended bar. We also provided sponsorship money to them. (AANR, AANR-East, Black Naturists of Americas, and the AANR Educational Foundation also provided sponsorship money.) We spent hundreds of dollars on backpacks and other items for the event. We were told that everything went great and we were asked to help this year.
Once we found out this year's date, we blocked that out that time on our calendar and made preparations to help. We announced it in several of our newsletters and had several volunteers ready to help.
Because of security, the WNBR people keep the exact location of the ride secret until the last minute. Last year, we were told ahead of time, the location details, so we could give directions to the volunteers. This year, when we didn't hear anything, we started making inquiries and finally, we were told at the last minute, late yesterday night, that we not needed. That is after blocking out the time for the event, ordering additional backpacks for the event, printing flyers specific to the event, and collecting gifts for door prizes and giveaways.
This will end our relationship with the Buffalo WNBR. We simply don't have the resources to waste.

 We know it is short notice, but our next Meet and Greet Dinner will be this coming Saturday 8/3/24 at Hillview Restaurant which is located at at 6135 Transit Road, Depew, NY. They have a private meeting room.  We will start at 5:00PM PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN TIME.

You do not have to be a member of the club and you  do not need reservations. Please come, ask questions, and see what the club is all about, socialize and get to know us.  The only cost is your meal and drinks. We will be discussing our next nudist events.
