We know it has been a while since the last newsletter. It had already been longer than normal when we tried to send it out before the AANR Convention and board meeting at Oak LAKE Trails in Oklahoma. The newsletter was done, hit the send button, and nothing happened. Running out of time, the program was loaded onto the laptop, and between meetings, I worked to figure it out.  After getting back, I discovered that Google has changed its permissions to send emails from a database and script program. (A greater amount of security to cut down on spam). I now needed a special application password. I now have the special password and you are getting this.

However, Google is again changing its policy sometime in September. This will make it  harder to send out emails the way we have been. To ensure that we can remain in touch with out members, we are looking at something called SubStack. It will work well for us and it doesn't have a cost unless we sell subscriptions to the newslteers. Other clubs are using this platform. You, as our members, should not see any difference other than - now this is important, everybody on the email list will get an email from Substack asking if they wish to receive emails from us. If you don't accept, then you will not be getting the newsletters anymore. For the first few attempts, we will try to send out newsletter from both platforms.

In the interest of time, we are not revising the newsletter to reflect today’s date.

The convention was a success. We made many  new friends and we got a lot of new ideas for getting new members.

 Nude weekend at the Lodge

Niagara Naturists Weekend at the Nudist Lodge – A Great Time for All

Although attendance was a bit lower than usual, the Niagara Naturists weekend at the Nudist Lodge was a wonderful success. The weather was pleasant, adding to the relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The potluck dinner was a highlight, with an impressive variety of delicious dishes shared by attendees. Some members even went above and beyond by preparing breakfast for everyone, which was warmly appreciated.

The evenings were filled with music and karaoke, and the best part was that everyone joined in the fun. The laughter, singing, and camaraderie truly captured the spirit of the Niagara Naturists community. It was such a success, we are planning to have music and karaoke at the Thanksgiving event also.

All in all, it was a weekend full of friendship, good food, great entertainment, and lasting memories.

Next Meet and Greet

The owners and staff at the Hill View are taking a much needed vacation during August when we would normally have our next meet and greet. We will have one in September.

A quick heads up, our annual Nude Thanksgiving at the Lodge will take place on 10/18 - 10/19/25. Many more details will be forthcoming.  This will be  our 12th annual thanksgiving dinner.
